"My husband and I had some business in Pretoria. We enjoy staying at backpackers because the atmosphere is usually more fun and chilled compared to hotels and it's easier to meet people and make friends. 1322 did not disappoint. Our room was comfortable, cozy with ensuite bathroom. Very affordable as well. Nice spacious self catering kitchen, bar and chill area as well as WiFi. It was too cold for a swim but the back packers has a lovely pool which would be in summer. Also conveniently close to major roads and train stations. All in all a great place to stay"

"The staff was friendly and extremely attentive. I was happy to receive a room upgrade when I arrived. The location was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was great hanging out by the pool chatting with the other guest. I would certainly return and highly recommend this establishment."
